Amongst South Asia's Contemporary Artists, Soraya Sikander, is one of today's leading contemporary painters known for inventing the 'Calligraphy Landscape'. Internationally recognised for her pioneering style, the artist has exhibited at galleries and museums in China, Singapore, Netherlands, UK, UAE, Pakistan and more. Trained from London Atelier of Representational Arts & University College London's Slade Summer School, the artist is one of the few to have the distinction of being both, critically acclaimed, as well as a commercial success. Her recent exhibition includes the 8th International Beijing Biennale. Dubbed 'Artist to Collect'. Soraya Sikander's tonal landscapes are an interpretation of places seen from the mind's eye.

Soraya Sikander is one of today’s leading landscape painters. She graduated in 2008 from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore. Soraya has studied at the London Atelier of Representational Arts and UCL’s Slade summer school. Soraya has held several international exhibitions including at Galerie Patries Van Dorst Netherlands, Beijing Biennale at the National Art Museum of China, Shilpakala Academy Dhaka Museum, Etihad Modern Art Abu Dhabi, La Galleria Pall Mall London, Pakistan High Commission London, Unicorn Space Dubai, Unicorn Gallery Lahore & Karachi, London, Dubai, New Delhi etc. Soraya Sikander paints the mangroves of Karachi city and the landscapes of Punjab. Her work explores themes of time, place, memory and belonging. Through her art, she raises awareness about the environment.
